About The Photograper

Andrew [Smudge] Smith resides in beautiful Dorset with his wife and their children.

Much of his work is inspired by his love of the area in which he lives. Visiting locations on the Jurassic Coast, like Durdle Door and Warbarrow Bay or moving inland to the Purbeck Hills, Wareham, Corfe Castle and Puddletown Woods have caught his imagination and his artistic eye.

Also on his doorstep in Hampshire is the New Forest, a beautiful National Park where Andrew has spent many a day. With so much to photograph from wild horses to the popular British birds. In addition to the wildlife in this picturesque location there is also the flowing streams and forest floors with all their fungi in springtime and their array of colours when the Autumn leaves fall.

Andrew frequently travels and explores the UK and so has built up a portfolio of other picturesque areas, from Cornwall's rugged coastline to the rolling hills of the Brecon Beacons.

Thank you for taking the time to look at this ever growing portfolio and we hope you find pleasure visiting the various galleries.
